8:59pm Los Angeles Time

Made it…. Our second last flight landed safe and sound and has been the best flight to date, not only did i get a free upgrade i also had the aisle and a free seat next to me. And to top it off it was only 48min and was sleeping the whole time. Now for my Vegas wrap.

What a place, its big, flat, loud and bright. Its not too expensive and there is heaps to do, we got to shoot machine guns and go on tehe highest ride in the world and many other things. But thats just a tiny amount that can be done here. I think you need about 2 weeks here to see the good stuff and i only had 3 1/2 days. So out of 10 i would give it an 7.5 there was too much construction going on and makes the strip a bit spread out, u can walk for about 150 with not casino or shop where they are building a new one. But other than that its great and a must for people goin to the USA and dont forget the gun store. Its a 9.5 out of 10. Only because of the price.

1:15pm Las Vegas Time

After another great breakfast we were off to the Gun Store, its a shop that sell guns and stuff. But the best thing is they also rent guns, lots of them. From Shotguns to handguns to machine guns. The hardest question was what ones to choose, its not cheap but worth every cent, where in Australia can you shoot a Uzi or a M16. So i first decided to shoot a M6 Carbine, 50 shots at FULL AUTO and its was sweet, The noise and shock and the gun powder gas getting you in the eye makes for one great experience, after that i decided to shoot the biggest hand gun they had a Desert Eagle, it was huge and i had 10 shots, I have it on video but it is really heavy and has a huge recoil. So then i decided to have a crack at a Police Sniper Rifle, and it too was great, not much recoil and change the round manually added to it, i didn’t do to bad on that. It was the one of the best experiences i have had on this holiday so far, its a must for anyone who visits Las Vegas. After that we were off the StarTrek Experience it too was great, had heaps of stuff there 2 rides and a gift shop. i really enjoyed it, as usal Tim and Joel made stupid Jokes about how shit it was (while joel took heaps of photos) . But this was for me and i loved it. So many models i want like the the Voyager model that was about 3m long. After that we are back in the room about to go and have tea.

6:30pm Las Vegas Time

Tea is over and i am full, it wasn’t bad at all. Now we are off to walk the strip, go on some rides and watch a show. Should be good.

11:31pm Las Vegas Time

Another day down, Just walked down the strip, it looks pretty good at night, but like most other places we have been on this holiday alot is under construction, so there are huge gaps between buildings where they have pulled down the old one and are building a new one. Went into a Ferrari store and had a look at some nice cars and then decided to go to the Worlds Largest Gift Shop, its full of shit you dont really want. Went to go on the speed ride but it was closed, will have to go tomorrow. Not sure what Joel and Tim are doin as they walked off on me (turned around and they were gone) and i haven’t seen them since 6:30pm. I think they wanted to go to a magic show, but it cost $100 and thats a bit much to watch a 2hr magic show. I will just watch the same tricks on you tube :-)

9:40pm Vegas Time

Wow what a busy day, we got a little bit done today but most was taken up driving. Got a great breakfast $12 all you can eat, its good value since thats all you need for the whole day. After that we were off to the hoover dam, its not to bad. Big and stuff. Its only 30miles from LV so it didnt take long to get there. After that off the the West canyon sky walk. Another 100miles You can google it or wait for more pics but its just a glass bridge that goes out over the edge. Its really high, about 1200m up. Joel really didnt like it at first but by the end was even jumping on it. Its very very expensive at $70 each but worth it. Then the bus takes you to another part of the grand canyon where they just let you go anywhere, so we did and got some great shots over the edge. Had some other people worried but we are all safe and the pics are great.
Americas dont like the seed limit. It ranges from a slow 25mph to 65mph. About the same as home. and not sure how much you can go over here, i decided to keep up with the locals, and Its GREAT. The mini vans do about 90 to 100mph, some even faster. I think the average we did on the main road was 80mph and a bit faster on the back road. If you change that to kph its about 140 to 150. AND because we have V8 mustang it loved it and did it with ease. The only downside was the fuel we used an entire tank yesterday. I think i love V8s it sounds so good when you hammer it :) And another good thing the road was dirt for 18miles so there was a bit of drifting, its rwd and has power and that = lots of fun.

Some may look at the following photos and think i am mad, but i am not, we just wanted to make a nice photo. The other people watching were a bit worried, since the drop may not look high in the photos, but i assure you it was. About 800-1000m in fact, a rather large drop straight down. Enough to lob a rock off and not here it hit the ground, or if you can its a good 10-15secs. Enjoy them :-) ……..I like heights.

11:22am NY Time

Off on another flight, this time our destination is Las Vegas. For the first time i dont have anyone next to me. I am in the Emergency Exit, so i have more space and an empty seat next to me. Should be a good flight, and we land only 2hrs after we take off because of the time zone thing. I booked our hire car yeaterday so hopefully we can get out mustang. says because we are under 25 we might not, but if they dont we will go to avis, last place they said we can have anything we wanted that wasnt booked out. I did try to book a H2 or H3 but they all out, so i will ask again when we get there, and if someone has cancelled there booking maybe we can get one.

Now my New York wrap. I loved it, so far its equal to Hong Kong, maybe its beacause its alot like HK. But i really enjoyed it and think i will go back there some day. its just a fast paced place, with alot goin on all the time, and there is always something to do. I cant fault the hotel, it was in a great location, big enough for us and not to bad price. You didnt even need to talk to anyone to check n, it was all done on a computer. all you did was type in your name and it gave you a key card. Yeah i really really like it. so our of 10 i think its about a 9.2. and its now my =1st loaction i have ever been to. But if i had to choose between them i would go HK because of the cost, new york is not cheap.

A quick note about something very funny….Joel backed the dunny up last night, not 100% how or if it was only him but he was the last one in there before it happened. He came out and said its full of water, we looked and i flushed it again, nope..no flush again and it  stated to fill. lucky it stopped about 3mm from the top, it almost overflowed. It was 11:20pm when this happened so we could not call anyone to fix it. So we decided to just hold on. Then there we some really funny jokes about not having a dunny and where we were going to go if we needed to that bad. So we decided the shower was the best bet, or stack it up in the bin.

Still have about 3 1/2hrs of flying left so i am off to get some sleep, had to get up at 6am so we would make it to the airport on time.

9:21pm Las Vegas Time

Made it. We got a V8 Mustang and it really goes, well !!!! We made it to our hotel, its huge, we are in room 28745. We went to the stratosphere, its the tallest building in Vegas, and at the top there are 3 insane ride, i giant drop, a spinning one and and see-saw type one. But there is a difference, these are the highest rides in the world. The giant drop is 830feet in the air, and then you go even higher, then the see-saw hangs over the edge and tilts you forward, and you slide forward not knowing when or if it will stop, and it goes up and down at the same time. then the one called insane. you sit in a seat and face each other in a circle, then it turns you around so you are hanging over the edge, with nothing around you at all, and you are a good 15m from the building. then it spins  faster, and faster until you are on a 70 degree angle facing the ground. it really is a weird ride, and when you are about 200m above the ground, it makes for a whole new experience. Plus it was really windy. There are not the most insane rides i have ever been on, not that they are fast to anything, but you are 830feet off the ground. After that we got the biggest hotdogs i have ever seen for $1.60 and came back to the hotel. Goin to bed now.

9:14pm NY Time

Yet another GREAT day here in NY. Up early to go to our tour of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. We got to go to the Gold Volt and touch a bar worth about $200,000. and in the same room there is about $215 Billion!!!! YEP heaps. They gave us some shredded money and sent us on the way. We were off to our Chopper Tour, had a short wait so we walked around Wall St and the Finance District until our time. The ride was expensive but well worth it, had a really good pilot who told us all the landmarks, It went for about 25min. After that we went back to Nintendo world to buy some stuff. That took up most of the day, just went out for some tea and one last walk around this awesome city. I now know why people wear the I Love New York shirts. Yeah of to Las Vegas tomorrow.

10:05pm NY Time

WOW What a day, I really like NY. Started off the Day Early and off to the Nintendo shop at the Rockefeller center, Tim like it, then it was off the the Top of the Rock, Ob deck at the RF center. What a View, NY looks good day and night. Then it was a trip to Time Square, just some shop with really big tvs. Then we went to M&M World, guess what they sell, all things M&M. Then we were off to the Statue of Liberty, its nice and stuff. After that we were off to Ground Zero, just looks like a huge construction site. And then back to time square to see it at night, and WOW its different at night, its so busy and there are huge screens changing the colour of the night, looks really cool, i would love to come here at New years. Then back to the hotel, with some tea. And we are in a great spot. REALLY GOOD. We are 5min from Time square, 2min from Rockefeller Center, about 10min from empire state building, Opposite Radio City Theater, and NBC Studios, And about 3min away from where they shoot the Today show, so we are going to try to get on TV tomorrow.

1:15am New York Time

Just went up for our first walk around NY, and wow what a place, its busy, fairly clean and looks safe, well where are anyway. So we went to the Empire State Building, to the Very Top, all 102 floors up, its about 1250feet. Its has a great view but not as good as the 86th floor. It does look really really good, took lots and lots and lots of photos and videos. For some reason Tim decided not to come to the top, and spent 2hrs waiting for me and joel to finish up there. He missed out on a really good view. This place is huge. Not sure what we are doin tomorrow but i am sure it will be great.

8:52am NY Time

Today we are off to Ground Zero, Time Square, Chrysler Building, Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, Rockerfella Centre, American Museum of Natural History to name a few, looks like its going to be a busy busy day.

4:31pm Flight Time

One our shortest flight, Washington to New York its only a 35min flight time but you have to get into the air and out of the plane so its about an hour and a bit. So we have finished our time in Orlando and it was great i will do i myl orlando wrap once we get to the hotel in new york. For now all i can say is that you need more time there to see it all as there are more here than you could do in 6 months, take out all the shit stuff, thats 3 months, then the stuff thats not in your age bracket thats 1 month, then the stuff you cant afford to do and its about 2 weeks. I had 4 full days and a part day, not the 14 you need as a minimum. I just got a coke, nice and cold. New York should be good, HOPEFULLY!!!!!!!!!!!
We are on our way back down now so i am goin to finish this off now an out it away.

7:30pm New York Time

Made it to new york and 2 short flighs, so now for my orlando wrap. Out of 10 its about a 8.9. It is a really nice place  with   lots to do. only problem for us is we needed more time. I got to see what i really wanted so its not all that bad. The hotel was good, even better that forgot to chage us for all the i internet so it was cheap.  Nice room and in a good spot. the airport there is even good. So i think it would be worth a return trip, and spend a bit more time ther to enjoy ever thing  that orlando has to offer.
